Shiism is about worshiping Allah?or its about worshiping Ali r.a?

If it about worshiping Allah,then why Hasan nasrullah is backing the syrian president who worships Ali r.a instead of backing the unjusted syrian muslims who are getting shot daily by the syrian regime?
