Doesn't the Quran and Islam texts condemn infidels?

It says they are Infidel's, not to kill them. It is a loving religion, minus the violent crap most holy books have (minus Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and most other Indian religions). The Bible says the same stuff, and we have had people apologize over it.
