Giving a speech about yourself to the people who have given you a scholarship?

Hi, the people who very generously gave me a scholarship for my university study hav asked me to present a five minute speech about myself and my university study to them (I've just finished my first semester). I was wondering about how in depth I should go about me, do you think they'd just be interested in why I want to study what I want to study or know a bit more about my other interests? Also, do you think they'd want to know any amusing experience (obviously the more appropriate ones) that I've had from living on campus?
