Jews, Christians & Muslims: You think there was a Supercontinent during the time of the Great Flood?
When questions about the Great Flood arise, I typically hear common responses such as "Noah was able to gather 2 of all the world's animals because the Earth was one large continent (Pangaea)". So, you think that the continents traversed thousands of miles apart from each other in a matter of ~8,000 years? Consider the speed at which the continents would have to be moving to achieve that. (Currently, the continents are only drifting at 15 millimeters per year.) If you say that God accelerated the separation, then why isn't it mentioned in the Bible, Torah or Koran? Don't you think "Major Continental Separation" is just as notable as the "Great Flood"?
