Why can't all Christians be like buddhists or Jews?

Why do most Christians, try and shove their religion down your throat? Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Daoists, and to some extent Muslims are non confrontational about their views. They don't let religion interfere with the public sphere or public policy.I have never been berated. yelled at, or tried to be converted by a Buddhist, Hindu, or Jew. Why do they keep to themselves, but Christians try and shove their views down everyones throat?
